Three-masted clipper, an oil painting from the Netherlands dating to 1930–1940, by the Dutch school (XX), sold with frame.

The painting is a classic nautical landscape depicting a three-masted clipper ship under full sail on the high seas.
Type of ship: The painting resembles a 19th-century tea clipper, known as the fastest sailing ship of the era. The sail arrangement and graceful lines of the hull are typical of these ocean-going vessels.
Famous ships: Visually similar works often depict notable ships such as the Cutty Sark or Thermopylae.
Artistic style: The painting follows the traditional style of 20th-century marine painting, with an emphasis on the dynamism of the waves and the precise depiction of the tension of the sails.
The size of the painting without frame is 60 x 90 cm.
It is in very good condition, in a beautiful, flawless frame.
Signature is visible at the bottom right, it could not be deciphered with complete certainty, it is likely the work of a 19th-20th century Dutch grand master.
