3. About the artist:
Ciscø, born in 1979 in Hauts-de-France. A devotee of visual art and self-taught, he began painting at a very young age. Today, he repurposes collectible banknotes and more particularly the "Pascal" into iconic and pop-culture themes. Ciscø gives a unique and exclusive touch to this symbolic banknote, now an intersection between past and present. His nostalgia for the Francs leads him to this artistic theme he personally cherishes. Moreover, Ciscø created a short film featuring this old currency. A YouTube video to watch by typing "Nostalgie des Francs".
Today, his works travel across regions of France and cross European borders. His paintings are exhibited in various French showcases and international galleries. Happy to pursue a growing artistic passion, Ciscø sells worldwide to private collectors and expands exhibitions in France and abroad to share his artistic universe.
