Peat Level: High (35-40 PPM)
Cask Type: Predominantly ex-Bourbon with a significant influence of ex-Sherry casks.
ABV: 43% | 70cl
Tasting Notes
Nose: Intense peat smoke with iodine and seaweed. A deep, medicinal character is balanced by a rich, sherried sweetness and notes of black tea.
Palate: Thick, full, and oily. An explosion of campfire smoke and tar, followed by elegant notes of raisins, dates, and Lapsang Souchong tea. A touch of maritime saltiness runs through the middle.
Finish: Exceptionally long and warming. A sophisticated, smoky finish with a lingering sweetness and a hint of oak spice.
