Urban Frida, an original multicolour mixed-media collage on a wood board (50 × 20 cm) from France by Lasveguix, hand-signed, 2026, in excellent condition, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Original work on a wooden board 50x20 cm, posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca.
Original and unique piece, fresh from the artist's studio.
Protected and fast shipping.
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears, overlays, reconstructs. His creations are skin of walls, fragments of urbanity where the poster blends with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with spray paint and Posca. Each piece is a pulsation, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Introduced to graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language with the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture you can hear the echoes of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
Active in the street art scene for more than twenty years, Lasveguix has established a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he has translated this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Known for his singularity, he regularly participates in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire, or SOS Préma. His works reach record sums there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix defends an art that is accessible, free, and vibrant, where every torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
