XTC created the mixed‑media sculpture 'Caviar x Chanel white' (2026), edition 7/8, using steel, plastic and paper, measuring 19 cm wide by 10 cm high by 16 cm deep, signed by hand, in excellent condition, originating from France, presented on a 10 mm black Plexiglas plinth with a painted and varnished genuine 1000 g caviar box, COA provided.
Description from the seller
Box of Caviar and torn Chanel label in trompe l'oeil by XTC.
This is a real 1000g box of caviar (it has been used and therefore shows some signs of normal wear) painted (this is not a sticker) and varnished, and of course fake caviar!
The work is presented on a 10 mm thick black plexiglass plinth for a glossy, flawless finish.
Signed and numbered on the base as 8 + 4EA, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo.)
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was meant to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes collide with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
