mru.gru - "16 dawns" XXL

Mru.gru (*Julia Słomińska 1972 Szczecin/Poland) is a contemporary artist whose work is rooted in the traditions of the 20th century. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

The artist’s paintings are characterized by a personal perspective on the heritage of great masters, with attention to detail and message. A distinctive feature of her work is keen observation of the world, events, and contexts. The author does not close off the reality depicted in her paintings, ensuring that the viewer fills in their own story. A fascination with old works of art shapes her extraordinarily meticulous approach to technique and the quality of the artwork.

The painting is ready to hang, created on 100% linen canvas pasted with gelatin and then three times primed with gesso. The frame is waxed with reinforcement. A certificate of authenticity is sent with the painting to the purchaser. Within the European Union, the painting will be shipped on a frame. The painting is very large, therefore for countries outside the European Union it will be shipped rolled in a tube.
