Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been painstakingly handmade by me.
The traces of handcrafting are visible on the object and reflect the uniqueness of each individual piece.
Hand-signed
Art object is approx. 32/12/11 cm in ultramarine blue matte, mounted on a black glossy pedestal
Ultramarine pigment colors achieve, with a formulation, a matte, light-absorbing surface.
The less light there is in the room, the more intensely the blue glows.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Lyon, Strasbourg …
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby acquire a new life as "art objects".
