Description from the seller

Seen, Richard Mirando by birth, was born in 1961 in the Bronx where he grew up. Known as the Godfather of Graffiti, Seen now splits his time between Paris and New York.

In 1981, he stood beside Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Basquiat at the exhibition “New York, New Wave” at PS1 in New York.

Seen continues to exhibit solo or in groups with artists such as Banksy, Obey Giant. He is among the artists represented in the exhibition “Urban Conquest” at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Calais in 2019.

Seen broke the world record for the most expensive graffiti canvas, Superman Who, 2009 at $96,000, on February 15, 2012. He dethroned the previous record held by JonOne in 2007, before being surpassed by Kaws in 2015.

I am thus selling this magnificent painting, unique 1/1, in rare colors, signed by him, with dimensions of approximately 71 x 56 cm and a 5 cm white border allowing you to mount or frame it in an American-style frame.

The painting is new, purchased directly from his studio. It has only been unwrapped for the photos.

Rare on the market. It’s an ideal investment; the artist’s value continues to rise.

Shipped securely in a rigid tube with insurance and requiring a signature upon delivery.
