The genesis of JosemicampaÑa's creative universe lies in his early relationship with comics and graphic narrative. His subsequent foray into artistic photography was decisive in consolidating his mastery of light and composition, elements that today underpin his painting. After years of academic and practical learning, Campaña has consolidated an expressive style where photographic technique and the ease of drawing converge with a distinctive identity.

His work has crossed borders, reaching homes and art collections in Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, and Spain, and he has a solid track record throughout southern Andalusia, highlighting his presence in both institutional spaces and in reference galleries and cultural centers.

In his solo capacity, he has exhibited in Málaga in spaces such as La Polivalente, Espacio Exponte, Nook, La Cochera Cabaret and Microteatro. His career extends through the province of Cádiz with shows at Galería Nando Argüelles and Sala Sotomarket (Sotogrande), the Museo del Vino (Manilva), the La Alcaidesa Golf Club, Galería Arte 360º, the Ateneo de Algeciras and the youth delegations of Algeciras and San Roque.

He has participated in numerous group shows, highlighting institutions such as the Diputación de Málaga, La Caja Blanca and the Colegio de Veterinarios. In the capital of Málaga he has been part of projects in Cabin, Caprichos, Deambulantes and Galería Espacio 3. At regional and international levels, his work has been present at the John Mackintosh Hall (Gibraltar), the Hotel Asur (La Línea) and the Ecocenter (Tarifa), as well as at the Montera Plaza, Holiday Inn and the Cortijo de Guadacorte in Los Barrios.
