All automatic watches on first use must be wound also by the crown; merely moving the wrist is not sufficient to maintain the required power reserve

RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE FUNCTION
To avoid possible damage to the watch mechanism, please do not set the date with the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00 - It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55 (Some models of watches have the crown screw-down; for settings it is necessary to gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Don’t forget to screw the crown back in securely after adjusting the desired settings)
