Windsor Pressmaster wooden dressboy dating from 1950–1960, German origin, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear; dimensions 102.5 cm high, 45 cm wide, 35 cm deep, weight 6 kg, featuring the original mechanical trousers press.
Description from the seller
an iconic Windsor Pressmaster dressboy (silent servant), a rare and functional piece of furniture that symbolizes the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. This specific model is of German origin and is praised by connoisseurs for its superiority compared to the Italian counterparts from the same period.
This is finished in a warm wood tone (beech/walnut finish) and features the original, manual mechanical trouser press. Unlike later electric variants, the Pressmaster uses an ingenious system of metal side handles to apply a constant, even pressure, which is essential for preserving the perfect crease in a pair of trousers.
Weight: 6 Kg
It looks neat and undamaged.
