Description from the seller

3 parts in 1 volume in-8°, Cards [8], 419 pages, [1]; Cards [6] (index of chemical preparations and 1 blank page); 114 pages and Cards [19] (index); 220 pages and Cards [6] (dedication), with many woodcut diagrams in the text.

Basilica Chymica
Pluribus selectis & secretissimis propria manuali experientia approbatis descriptionibus, & usu remediorum chymicorum selectissimorum aucta

The second part bears the title: "Tractatus, de Signaturis internis rerum, seu de vera et viva Anatomia maioris et minoris mundi". The third part: "Praefatio Admonitoria, ad Lectorem Candidum,..."

OSVALD CROLL, latinized as Osvaldus Crollius (Wetter, 1560 – Prague, 25 December 1609), was a German alchemist, physician and pharmacist. A professor of medicine at the University of Marburg in Germany, he was a follower of Paracelsus.

Several treatises gathered in this work, a fundamental volume of chemical medicine alchemy in the Paracelsian tradition, containing:
• Pharmaceutical chemical preparations
• Therapeutic recipes
• Alchemical procedures applied to medicine
• Treatises on distillation, extraction and mineral compounds

Book in very good condition, a few signs of dampness but light, pages still fresh, nothing else of significant note to report.
As can be seen from the images which are an integral part
