Description from the seller
Ester Reut
Watched the sea and breathed blue
Looked beyond in crossing the “endless,” beyond our small horizons. The sea contemplated it, caressing the waves with its mute gaze. It saved poor, unsuspecting people from deadly waves; few recognize the courage of a man, that courage that makes life seem tiny and drives toward the ultimate sacrifice. It watched the sea and entrusted secrets and thoughts to the wind.
In the dense air scented with salt, it glimpsed the choices, loves, irreparable mistakes, the sudden joys that illuminated its gaze.
Resigned, arriving at the lofty conclusion that there is no “difference whatsoever between guiding peoples and getting drunk on one’s own.”
Serene, it breathed in the wind, solitary, at peace with itself and with the rest of the world. For one undertaking alone, it would stop looking at this sea, turning its back on the waves.
For a great love it would defy every limit,
For a great love it would end its truce, it would still dare that fearless dive into the other.
Because its heart was pure, invincible and full of an unusual light, like the sea.
