The artist develops a visual research that investigates the threshold between the real and the interior, between the figure and its dissolution. Through painting and sculpture that are instinctive yet controlled at the same time, her works tell the story of the human being in moments of loss, fragmentation, and transformation. The painterly matter, unfinished marks and drips become emotional language: they do not represent, but evoke. Each face, each trace, is a fragment of presence that resists oblivion. Her style, recognizable for the tension between figuration and abstraction, places her within the landscape of contemporary Italian painting and sculpture, in dialogue with themes of identity, silence and metamorphosis. Her works convey an intimate and universal strength, capable of speaking directly to the viewer.
Serena Grassetti is a contemporary Italian artist. She lives and works in central Italy. Her work stands out for a deep and personal research that blends natural materials, pure colors and instinctive gestures. Serena is described as sensitive, innovative and emotionally powerful.
Through the use of natural pigments, earths, charcoal and raw fabrics, she creates abstract and material works that speak of wounds, memory and inner transformation. Her style oscillates between painting and visual poetry, with recurring elements such as white drips, incomplete faces and layered textures, which make each work unique and recognizable.
She exhibits in solo and group shows, in Italy and abroad. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and emerges as part of a sincere and intimate research process.
The work, realized with mixed techniques and natural pigments, contains the chromatic power of someone who has learned to transform the painterly gesture into pure emotion, in a search that traverses time and the market of contemporary art. Among the depths of color, one senses the same tension that made Francis Bacon’s brushstrokes iconic, the gestural energy of Jackson Pollock, and the introspection of Lucian Freud. A piece that fits into the landscape of modern art for collection, perfect for those seeking a work of strong emotional impact, able to dialogue with the visual energy of galleries in New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong, where names like Basquiat, Rothko and Gerhard Richter have left their mark.
A piece destined for those who understand the value of art that goes beyond form, piercing the heart of human expression, as Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele did over time. The dynamism of the brushstrokes and the depth of the mark make this canvas a perfect investment for collectors and lovers of fine art, always seeking unique pieces able to sit among the greats of Pop Art and conceptual art.
A unique piece for art collectors, perfect for galleries and investors seeking luxury art and works likely to increase in value over time.
In a world dominated by pop artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy and Kaws, this work stands out for the use of completely natural coloration, which makes each piece unique and unrepeatable. An exclusive alternative for those seeking contemporary art with a distinctive and authentic signature.
The works have been presented in local, national and international exhibition contexts, contributing to defining a coherent and distinctive visual language.
The works are part of private collections and international art galleries, with sales in cities such as Dubai, New York, Berlin, London and Paris, capitals of the art market and artistic investment. Perfect for those seeking a unique and original piece capable of combining tradition, innovation and deep visual expressiveness.
