The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can leisurely be handled, to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fearing to damage the bar or affect it with fingerprints. Cast bars naturally have rounded edges and minor solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes every Au bar a one-off.

On the top, the small 10 g bars feature the Au Recycling Gold logo, on the bottom the ESG logo with all the markings required for investment gold (10 g, Gold, 999.9), as well as the Melter Assayer hallmark of the LBMA-certified German bar manufacturer.
