“ARCHEMISIO”
is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, in which he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised among the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces exhibited in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Archemisio traveled in Europe and the United States, perfecting the hyperrealistic technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by the Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture meticulous details (from wrinkles on the skin to reflections on an object) but are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which chisels the volumes and creates an atmosphere full of symbolism.
