In Still Water, Arishia builds a portrait suspended between quiet and depth, where the figure seems to rise in silence from the seascape. The lowered face and the gathered posture suggest a moment of inner listening, as if the immobility of the water reflected a held-back emotional state.
Here Arishia reflects on the apparent calm that conceals movement and transformation.
