Ichiro's Malt "Double Distilleries," is a fine Japanese whisky created by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu distillery.
It is part of the famous "Leaf Series" and is a pure malt (or blended malt).

Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries is a blended malt whisky created exclusively with single malts from just two distilleries: Chichibu (founded in 2008) and Hanyu (closed in 2000). Created from a blend of casks distilled by Hanyu and Chichibu, Ichiro's Malt Double Distillers is a pure malt whisky that marries sweetness and firmness. The first comes from Japanese oak barrels and the second from ex-sherry barrels used by Hanyu.
