πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, gallerist, exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and form-passer, presenting ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, a playful homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, infused with the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comprises four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends bold pop sensibility with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to attract the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it vanishes.
