πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, gallerist, exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and bearer of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, swayed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is born. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection unfolds in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop boldness with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross eyes and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
