Gianmarco Serafini (born in Tivoli, Italy) is an artist educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
Deeply inspired by Romanticism and the great Flemish masters
-whom he studied closely during a period of life in Antwerp-his work combines technical mastery with poetic atmosphere.
His subjects range from evocative landscapes to portraits and still lifes, often distinguished by dramatic chiaroscuro and refined tonalist moods. The romantic scenery of Tivoli, his hometown, remains a constant source of inspiration in his art.

This original painting is an oil on panel, 35x30 cm, it is sold without frame and bears the artist's signature on both the front and back.
