Original acrylic painting by Bart Hamelink, titled We Want It Now, hand-signed, in black and white, 165 × 133 cm, from 2026, Neo-Expressionism, depicting pop culture, produced and sold directly by the artist, rolled and shipped without a frame, with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
In this powerful black-and-white work by Bart Hamelink, figures, lines and text come together in a busy and energetic composition. The work feels chaotic and lively, as if everything is happening at once.
The text “We Want The World And We Want It Now” gives the piece a clear charge. It’s about longing, impatience and the urge for more. Wanting everything, and preferably right away.
As is often the case in Hamelink’s work, connectivity plays a role, but here also the tension of the world around us. The many figures and lines seem connected with each other, yet also move in their own chaos.
The white lines on the dark background provide a strong contrast and give the work a raw, almost street-art-like look.
Note:
The shown images with frame are mood photos / impressions of how the work can hang in an interior.
The artwork is delivered unframed and unmounted (rolled) to keep transport safe and affordable.
The work is carefully packed and shipped and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist Bart Hamelink.
