My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio — a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me — it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy realms. For me it is about making visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods and in-between spaces that often can only express themselves in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth take center stage. Each work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm, a cradle frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm is required.
You can either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery.
This is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and light-fast acrylic paints were used on multiple-coated white primed gallery canvas.
