Description from the seller
A large folio from a Latin Bible (Vulgate), dated to the early 16th century (ca. 1510).
It contains a fragment of Numbers (Numeri, chapter XXIII), with the Balaam narrative.
Printed in two columns, in a characteristic Gothic typeface (Textura), with a substantial apparatus of commentaries (the so-called Glossa ordinaria) around the main text, indicating a scholarly-theological edition intended for study.
Folio format (approximately 22.8 × 32.2 cm).
Condition: good—paper preserved, legible print, natural signs of age and use.
