Pastel on paper by David Harianna, with an estimated period of 2010–2020, an original work on 200 g/m² paper measuring 30 × 40 cm and hand-signed.
Description from the seller
In this vibrant and material original pastel drawing by artist David Harianna, created in 2020. The work, entitled "Color Explosion (Warhol Style)", is a homage to Pop Art and the bold use of color and line, characteristic of the famous series of portraits and prints by Andy Warhol.
Through an expressive pastel technique on paper, the artist reinterprets an organic subject (an abstract floral or natural form) with blocks of pure, contrasting color. The flat, intense areas of magenta purple, neon yellow, vitamin orange, and forest green are outlined by dark, almost black graphic lines, recalling Warholian screen prints and serigraphs, giving the piece a strong visual and pop impact.
The pastel texture is evident and substantial, creating a tactile and dynamic surface. The work is unframed, allowing appreciation of the natural edges of the paper and the authenticity of the stroke.
