Rare Dutch 833‑silver canteen by Van Kempen, dating to circa 1917, in excellent condition, comprising 212 pieces (189 silver in 833) including 24 place settings and a full range of serving pieces, housed in the original fitted case marked A. Hoeting – Hofjuwelier – Amsterdam, with knives featuring steel blades and mother‑of‑pearl handles, dimensions 60 cm wide, 45 cm deep, 40 cm high, gross weight 14 kg and net 9.5 kg of 833 silver.

Rare, exceptionally complete Dutch silver canteen by Van Kempen, made in second standard silver (833/1000), dating to circa 1917.
The set is housed in its original fitted jeweller’s case marked “A. Hoeting – Hofjuwelier – Amsterdam”. The silver pieces show clear Dutch hallmarks. The knives have steel blades with mother-of-pearl handles.
