Patrícia Trindade (1989) is a Portuguese artist with a degree in Plastic Arts and a Master’s in Painting, both from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Although she has, over the years, devoted herself to various painting series with different themes, the male figure has become the central element of her work. This has served as the motif for various approaches and narratives — from the objectification of the body, to erotism, to homosexuality and voyeurism — which challenge the usual representations of virility and the passivity of sexual genders in iconographic representations.
