Very beautiful pastel on paper painting by Henri Vincent-Anglade (French, 1876 - 1956) - "Maternity". Beginning of the 20th Century.
Magnificent Art Nouveau (Arts & Crafts) wood frame, signed by the frame-maker. The frame is in very fine condition, with only a very few scuffing on the lower part.
Henri Vincent-Anglade was a French portrait painter and advertising illustrator. He was published in major magazines of the time. He participated in the first exhibition of the City in 1933, and exhibited each year at the Paris Horse Show as well as at the French Salons.
Pastel on paper. Contemporary very beautiful Art Nouveau frame and glazed.
Signed in pencil lower left corner with "h. Vincent-Anglade".
It depicts a mother in a tender moment with her asleep child.
