Item Description
This is a traditional Japanese lantern-shaped ashtray, likely made of 南部鉄器 (Nambu Tekki), a renowned cast iron craft from northern Japan. The design resembles a classic stone lantern (灯籠 / Tōrō), featuring a textured surface and vented structure that enhances both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Condition
The item shows clear signs of age and use. There is visible rust inside and on metal joints, surface scratches, dirt, stains, and discoloration throughout.
