Stilleven met kan en fruit, an original oil painting in the Impressionism style from the Netherlands, dated 1980–1990, measuring 50 cm by 60 cm, hand-signed and sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Moleveld, E.P. Moleveld, an artist of astonishing perfection. Eduard Pieter Moleveld, born in The Hague on May 1, 1946, and the son of the well-known foot-painter Pieter Moleveld. A naturalistic, fine painter, who analyzes all his objects in such a way that, through his own method of color construction, he elevates his paintings to an unparalleled level. When one looks closely at his work, one will see an abundance of colors that blend into each other from a distance, and copper, tin, glass, or any material whatsoever, lend an authenticity of incomparable quality. An important criterion for Ed Moleveld is that when he paints edible products, such as fruit, vegetables, or candy, he himself must be stimulated in order to want to eat them. E.P. Moleveld enjoys great interest in his work both domestically and internationally and has already completed many national and international exhibitions with great success.
