Original mixed media painting Remember to water them by M. Burgaz (2026), 54 cm high by 80 cm wide, an impressionist work depicting plants and flowers, signed and sold directly by the artist, with an authenticity certificate and shipped rolled in a tube.
Description from the seller
This painting arises from a springtime necessity. The good weather for me is synonymous with flowers, plants, in short, with life. These living beings are so ephemeral, so marvelous, and they only ask for something as simple as water. This painting is, however, an ode to longevity, a painted plant, which even if not watered will continue to live and accompany you wherever it is placed. This work is sent rolled in a tube with its certificate of authenticity. Please note that shipments are not made on Holy Week holidays.
María Burgaz (1970) knew from a very young age that her calling was art. She began her training at the School of Decorative Arts in Madrid, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid in the Painting specialty in 1993. Later she completed her studies at FIT in New York.
Winner of competitions such as the Wellington Foundation, Professional Football Foundation, Woman and Society, Iberdrola-UEX, UNED, Eugenio Hermoso, Gran Casino de Torrelodones… her work, in addition to being part of the collections of these institutions, also appears in the collections of municipalities such as Gibraleón, Valdemoro, Martos, Horche, the Provincial Council of Alicante…
She has held dozens of solo and group exhibitions both in Spain and abroad, and her work is also found in numerous private collections around the world.
Her diligent and enthusiastic spirit has led her to participate in all kinds of projects and to collaborate with designers, writers, and anything that allows her to express everything she carries inside. Her work always reveals the stage she is living through, her vitality, and her particular sense of humor and way of understanding life, always with a mastery of techniques that she combines and juxtaposes to create unique paintings of great narrative and technical richness.
Her works always include a certificate of authenticity, and when they are works on canvas they are shipped rolled in a rigid tube for greater security.
