Description from the seller
Angelo Favaro was born in Mirano in 1949. He began his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, attending the Scuola Libera di Nudo 'Ettore Tito' under the guidance of Maestro Guido Tito. An artist of light and color, he brings summer dreams to his canvases, characterized by chromatic patches and vibrant graphics full of sensations and scents. He elevates the view of the landscape, the flowering fields, women bent over their work, and clusters of houses on the gulf—going far beyond mere naturalistic representation. His master is undoubtedly Van Gogh; that is, the wildly expressive light, where everyday life becomes eternity, and that vital energy flows abundantly from the color, which especially captures and involves. Since 1977, he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, which have received critical acclaim and public appreciation. He is present at major art events across Italy and Europe.
