ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Alfonso Jimenez Barrera (1959)
Native of Alcalá de los Gazules (Cádiz), Alfonso Jiménez Barrera is a visual artist with autodidact training, whose career has been marked by the constant search for technical perfection. Although he master disciplines such as drawing and pastels, he has reached his artistic peak through oil, a technique in which he develops a hyperrealist language with a strong visual impact.
He is a member of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors (AEPE) and his work has been distinguished with various recognitions throughout his career.
His work, which has been part of numerous solo and group exhibitions, enjoys a consolidated international profile, with pieces in private collections in several European countries, China and Taiwan.
