For sale is an older violin with beautiful patina and great optics. Inside the body there is a slip of paper with the inscription "Jacobus Stainer in Absam prope Oenipontum 1716"; additionally there is a STAINER brand stamp on the bottom.

Old violin in traditional construction with a beautiful, warm tone. The instrument shows age-related signs of use that underline its authentic character. Body made of wood with finely crafted f-holes, dark fingerboard and beautifully figured back.

Ideal for musicians, collectors or as a decorative piece. The condition corresponds to its age; the violin is ready to play.

Sold as pictured with some signs of wear.
