Panasonic NV-F70EV, a high-end VHS video recorder, physically in good condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
The Panasonic NV-F70EV is a highly regarded, high-end hi-fi VHS video recorder that hit the market around 1989-1990. In the retro and audio/video community, the device is known as one of the most reliable video recorders ever made, praised for its exceptional picture and sound quality.
This sturdy Panasonic unit has been tested and is working. I have not been able to test the 'barcode-pen function' of the remote. As visible in the photos, look carefully at these pictures; there are some optical blemishes in the form of scratches on and along the sides of the lid.
Key features and specifications:
Format: Standard VHS
Video System: PAL (with NTSC playback capabilities on compatible PAL TVs)
Video Head System: Super 4-Head system (optimized for HQ recording and clear special effects like slow motion)
The NV-F70EV is known for its audiophile qualities:
Frequency response: Thanks to the VHS Hi-Fi system (where the sound is recorded in the video signal), the unit achieves a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
Dynamic range: More than 90 dB, making the device in its heyday an excellent and cheaper alternative to full-fledged cassette and audio data decks.
Audio Dubbing and Insert Editing: With special buttons and a jog/shuttle wheel you could edit footage very precisely or just overwrite the audio
Shuttle & Tracking: Front-panel jog/shuttle dial for precision frame-by-frame navigation, variable speed search, and digital tracking
Tape Speeds: SP (Standard Play) and LP (Long Play)
Thanks to smart shipping via Catawiki you pay relatively low shipping costs. Pick-up in Utrecht is also possible.
