In this work, the skin emerges as territory—a space of inscription where affection becomes visible, repeated, almost standardized. Small hearts scatter across the body, suggesting both emotional closeness and a certain mechanization of feeling. Between the intimate and the artificial, the image oscillates: what should be unique and organic becomes a treated surface, almost programmed.
The close framing reinforces the sense of vulnerability, while the gaze—suspended, silent—avoids direct contact, inviting the viewer to occupy an ambiguous position between observer and intruder. There is a subtle tension between softness and strangeness, between the gesture of care and the possibility of excess.
Sensitive questions the way we experience and represent affection in a contemporary context, where emotions can be amplified, reproduced and even aestheticized. The skin, traditionally a boundary, becomes here an interface—a meeting point between interior and exterior, between feeling and showing.
