WARNING: the artwork sold is that of the cut-out
The first image represents the passage of the work from the exterior wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban public context, is transferred inside palaces, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the wall fragment judged to be the most interesting is selected and cut out, the one on which the street artist had carried out his external intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved indoors: into houses, into buildings, into museums or other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, transitioning from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.
.
Original stencil art work (made with authentic materials recovered from the street, a distinctive element that guarantees its uniqueness and character.
The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban lived experience and reinforce the typical identity of true Street Art.
The work is delivered ready to be hung; any framed images are for illustrative purposes only.
The artwork is signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing the originality and value of the work.
