Description from the seller
“Spray your heart” – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New 2026 Collection
Edition number: 04/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Art paper 300 g/m² – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
In this work, SKE openly reinterprets the emblematic Banksy iconography, a major figure in contemporary street art and a symbol of anonymous, engaged and subversive art. By adopting the iconic stencil posture and the red heart gesture, the artist replaces the anonymous silhouette with Gaston, the cult character from Franco-Belgian comics.
This displacement creates a new reading: Banksy’s militant anonymity confronts the assumed innocence of Gaston. Masked, with a spray can in hand, the character becomes, in turn, a clandestine actor in the urban space, blurring the boundary between popular art, engagement and mass culture.
The red heart, blazing on the rough wall, preserves its universal symbolic charge: love, resistance, free emotion. The drips, projections and textures reinforce the street aesthetic and the illusion of a work born in the street.
Through this détournement, SKE questions the notion of author, signature and message in contemporary urban art, while paying homage to one of its founding myths.
A powerful, narrative, immediately legible work, aimed at collectors of street art, pop art and icon-détournement.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught and versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring many of his artworks.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in Urban Master (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” in October, and also featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, boosting the appeal of his creations among collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture explorations characterize a now-essential style.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to begin or enrich a collection with rising value.
Cited & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN UNIVERSE OF HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work follows a prestigious lineage. His lines reflect the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion and the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to détourn The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic avarice of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with worked textures sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
