Description from the seller
Original artwork by the artist Socrate
Spray paint, acrylic, marker, on high-quality cotton canvas, mounted on a 3D frame
Unique artwork, titled and hand-signed.
In this work, blue asserts itself as a deep breath.
It fills the space, oscillates between calm and vertigo, and creates an almost suspended atmosphere, as if frozen in a fragile moment.
At the center, a female face emerges, both close and elusive.
The gaze is heavy, almost absent — as if lost in a thought that one does not share. The features are sketched with economical lines, yet every detail is charged with emotion. Nothing is forced, everything is suggested.
Black comes to structure the composition with intensity. It cuts, it affirms, it anchors. It gives weight to the silhouette, contrasting with the lightness of the background and creating an immediate visual tension.
Then gold appears, in strokes, almost accidental.
Sparkles, projections, like fragments of light that cross this blue-melodic melancholy. They do not seek to dominate; they emerge, discreet but precious, like luminous memories in an introspective universe.
The contrast here is subtler, more intimate:
between the softness of the hues and the hardness of the line,
between the distance of the gaze and the proximity of the framing,
between abandonment and mastery.
This canvas captures something profoundly human.
A moment of withdrawal, of silence, where the outside disappears in favor of an inner world.
Hung in a space, it does not shout, it draws you in.
It creates an atmosphere, it soothes, while leaving a lasting impression.
It is a sensitive, elegant, almost meditative work.
A discreet but powerful presence that reveals itself to those who take the time to look.

Socrate invites graffiti into the boudoir and thus blends a discipline essentially masculine with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics.
She exhibits in several galleries around the world, alongside many renowned names such as Jonone, Orlinski, Onemizer, C215, Shepard Fairey (obey), invader, Banksy, Gomor, kev munday. Tags: woman, emotion, blue
