All automatic watches on first use must be wound also by the crown; wrist movement alone is not sufficient to maintain the necessary power reserve

REGULATION FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE
To avoid possible damage to the mechanism, please do not set the date from the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00 – It is recommended to set the date from the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55 (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings you need to unscrew the crown gently counterclockwise. Don’t forget to screw the crown back properly after setting desired settings)
