Adela M. presents the original mixed‑media batik painting Biały żagiel, a 2020+ acrylic on fabric landscape, 55 × 65 cm, hand‑signed, origin Poland, shipped rolled directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Painted batik - a mixed-media painting. Painted with acrylics and refreshed this year (2026), the batik itself was created several years earlier. Dimensions: 55x65 cm.
Batik consists of applying hot wax to fabric, and then dyeing it in dye baths. A characteristic feature of this technique is the network of cracks formed by the wax cracking. A raw batik lit from the back like a stained glass window takes on vivid colors. In this case, although the batik has been partially painted, it still has a stained-glass effect, which can be seen in one of the displayed photos.
The work is temporarily framed in bamboo, which allows it to be sent rolled up. If, however, someone prefers paintings in a frame, the staples attaching the batik to the bamboo can be easily removed.
The author of the work is Adela Marchewka, a graduate of higher arts studies with the title Master of Arts. After studies, she explored the secrets of batik (wax painting) and attended the Open Academy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has participated in many exhibitions. Member of the Polish Association of Visual Artists.
Batik is shipped rolled up, without a frame. Tracking-numbered shipping will be carefully secured and sent within 3 business days. Personal pickup is possible.
