Description from the seller
Clarinet with a personalized name. It may refer to a well-known clarinetist of French origin based in the USA. The clarinet has been restored and tested. All the pads have been replaced with new ones, some in high-quality brown leather and others in white bladder, Buffet-quality, and the springs have been checked and some replaced for good playing action with solid closing pressure and proper opening. It is made of composite (ebonite) from the era, and I assure you it has a power and a timbre that, for starting in B-flat or for street playing and improvising with open, raspy sounds, glissandos, is a clarinet with a rich timbre and sustain. I always recommend playing this type of American clarinet with mouthpieces like Vandoren B40, B45, Selmer C85 120—in short: open mouthpieces and a soft or soft-reed. I’m shipping it in a case in good condition, rigid, which isn’t its own but serves its purpose. Good luck with the auction.
