Drawing made on an authentic banknote of 5 francs called "5 FRANCS VIOLET" whose theme is Spider-Man. This work is created with meticulous artistic attention, down to the very careful packaging.
1. About the work:
• Acrylic on demonetized banknote.
• Golden frame 33.5x24.5 cm with acrylic glass and wall mount.
• Support dimensions: 125x80 mm
• Banknote fixed with adhesive dots.
2. Important:
• Original photos of the work.
• The banknote may show minuscule stains or simply be creased, worn or partially torn. In short, defects caused by the banknote’s use that result in a natural and expressive style, giving a unique character to each piece.
3. About the artist:
Ciscø born in 1979 in Hauts-de-France. Enthusiast of visual arts and self-taught, he began painting from a young age. Today, he repurposes collector banknotes and more specifically the Francs into iconic and pop-culture themes.
The artist adds a unique and exclusive touch to this symbolic banknote, becoming an interconnection between the past and the present. His nostalgia for the Francs guides him to this artistic theme which he personally loves. Incidentally, Cisco created a short film featuring this former currency. A video on YouTube: "Nostalgia des Francs". Today, his works travel across the regions of France and cross European borders. Happy to live a growing artistic passion, Ciscø sells worldwide to private collectors and multiplies exhibitions in France and abroad (Australia, United States, Belgium, Morocco) to share his artistic universe.

This 5 Francs Violet note of the Banque de France was printed from 1917 to 1933 and put into circulation from 1918 with the inscription “LE CAISSIER PRINCIPAL” and from 1939 to 1941 with the inscription “LE CAISSIER GÉNÉRAL.”
