Raku ceramic vase, ceramic material, estimated period 1990–2000, about 17.5 cm high and 9 cm in diameter, signed and dated 1993 on the base.
Description from the seller
Raku ceramic vase, signed and dated 1993 on the base.
This piece features an elegant ovoid form with a richly textured surface, characteristic of the Raku firing technique. The glaze presents organic variations and natural crackle (craquelure), creating a dynamic and expressive abstract decoration. The surface shows depth and materiality, giving the object a strong sculptural presence.
The vase is an example of studio pottery, likely produced as a unique or small-series handcrafted piece. It is suitable both as a decorative object and for collectors of artistic ceramics.
Dimensions:
Height: approx. 17,5 cm
Diameter: approx. 9 cm
Signed and dated “1993” on the underside.
Please note: the artist has not been identified; the piece is therefore offered as a signed but unattributed studio pottery work.
In good overall condition.
The surface shows typical Raku characteristics such as crackle glaze, porosity, and irregularities due to the firing process. No visible cracks or restorations.
