Stone Island parka in David-TC with a removable olive-green Down Gilet, red exterior, size L, two-piece lot, vintage 2013, featuring a Rope System and original YKK zippers.
Description from the seller
This lot features a piece of Stone Island's historical archive, dating from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection (confirmed by the seasonal code 59 on the ART label).
It is a parka in David-TC, one of the most advanced and admired fabrics of the brand. Starting from a substrate of star-section Japanese polyester/polyamide, the garment is assembled and simultaneously dyed and treated with a pressure anti-drop agent at 130°C. This process radically transforms the material's structure, giving it an industrial yet luxurious tactile look, a substantial hand, and a unique patina that evolves over time.
A strength of this specific model: It features a detachable inner lining in real goose down (Down Gilet) in olive green, secured through the historic and robust Rope System.
This makes the garment a 2-in-1, usable as a heavy winter parka or, removing the interior, as a lightweight transitional jacket.
