Elżbieta Armatys - Lekkość chwili

Elżbieta Armatys – a Polish painter born in 1962 in Kraków. She began her artistic path in 1996, when painting became for her not only a form of expression but also a way of carefully observing the world and capturing its ephemeral beauty.

In her work she readily draws on floral motifs and elements of nature, which she interprets with lightness, harmony and emotional sensitivity. Her paintings often combine realism with subtle stylization, and are characterized by expressive brushstrokes, soft color transitions, and the ability to bring out light from seemingly simple subjects.

The artist creates both delicate and poetic compositions — such as representations of dandelions or field flowers — as well as more expressive works with more intense coloration.
