Description of the work
I feel that, when I paint, every line is almost a gesture of balance between control and chance. The contrast between dark areas and white space allows me to tell a story without words. And when I add a touch of color, it's almost like lighting a match in this silence. For me, my work is a visual conversation between shapes, where everyone finds their own meaning.
Technically, I mainly use acrylic on canvas, exploring layers, transparencies and superpositions. I work with free gestures and pronounced lines, often applied spontaneously, creating a tension between control and impulse. I employ strong chromatic contrasts — notably earthy tones, a deep black and vibrant touches of color — to guide the eye and provoke a visual impact. Texture also plays an essential role: I let the marks of the process be visible, valuing the material and the movement of the paint.
