AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

As a performer artist with good skills contemporary dance, I start from my body as a brush. I treat painting as an unique live performative event.

This work is the result of a visceral artistic act, created in real time during the larger Performance titled < Je ne regretted Rien > in front of an audience, where the boundaries between body, gesture, and emotion dissolve completely.

The painting is not just a final object, but a trace of an intensely lived moment — a fragment of energy captured directly onto the surface.

The rich texture, achieved through direct contact between the body and the surface, preserves the marks of movement — each gesture becoming evidence of physical presence.

Music, an essential part of the performance, acted as a catalyst for movement. Rhythm, intensity, and sonic variations translate visually into the direction and energy of the marks — from broad, almost choreographic gestures to sudden, spontaneous bursts of material and color. In this way, the work becomes a form of synesthesia: sound transformed into form, and the body into an instrument of transcription.

Ultimately, the painting stands as both a residue and a witness — a living document of a performative act in which creation itself becomes the subject.

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas for safe delivery. Packaged in tube box and wrapped properly.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival completely normal for rolled canvas. Minor waves or creases may be visible upon arrival, which is completely normal for rolled canvas. These will disappear once the canvas is stretched or framed by a professional framer.

All my shipments will be made through DHL EXPRESS or a similar company, always trying to guarantee the safety, care and efficient delivery of the work. However, delays that may occur in the case of goods are beyond my control; I will always be attentive to tracking the shipment and any incident that may arise, being at the customer's disposal to provide appropriate assistance and support.

Thank you for your appreciation!
