Lot description:
An exceptional and highly collectable lot for sale, comprising 16 copies, all of them corresponding to ISSUE 1 from their respective series. These are original pieces from the golden age of adventure comics in Spain, published by legendary publishers such as Hispano Americana de Ediciones, Editorial Maga, and Ediciones Toray.
Notable titles included (among others):
"Rayo" Kit in "Llegan los indios" (No. 1): Cult series from Hispano Americana.
Huracán (No. 1): The start of Maga’s legendary adventure series.
Arizona (No. 1): Benchmark of Toray’s classic western.
Los Piratas del Aire (No. 1): Classic aviation adventure.
¡Manos Arriba! (No. 1): Historic 1-peseta issue.
El Caballero Negro (No. 1): Medieval epic in landscape format.
Condition:
Authenticity: 100% original from the era (not facsimile reissues).
Condition: Overall/good for its age (approx. 70-80 years). They show natural paper yellowing and light signs of use on the edges that attest to their age. No major paper flaws that affect readability or the aesthetics of the covers.
Format: Landscape-format booklets with colored covers and interiors in black and white.
For collectors:
Ideal for completing collections or as an investment, since obtaining sixteen first issues in a single lot is a relatively rare opportunity in today’s market.
