CHAMBLY S.F.AM Silversmithing, 20th century, 1970s-1980s: Superb antique silver-plated metal bucket of fine quality with an elegant, timeless design, resting on a circular foot and featuring two decorative, finely worked side handles.

The CHAMBLY silversmith house resumed in 1973 the workshop of S.F.AM (Société Française des Alliages et Métaux), which closed in 2004.

The interior shows a patina of use consistent with age.

Mark “25 GR,” indicating silvering of 25 grams
Another partially readable hallmark (see photos), typical of European production from the late 19th / early 20th century “S.F.A.M”
